Exploring the Inner West

There’s plenty of places that do great coffee but here’s our list of a few we think you’ll love.
Included in this list are a few places from Enmore and Marrickville. There’s a whole heap of other areas that aren’t mentioned but this will hopefully be enough to get you started. When you’ve worked your way through these places then check out what nearby Petersham and Newtown have to offer also.
Two Chaps
These guys make everything from scratch including all the bread, pasta and baked treats. The coffee is great and there’s guaranteed to be a bit of a wait – but it’s worth it.

Coffee Alchemy
You don’t come here for food. Coffee is their thing and these guys are seriously some of the best around. They also roast and you can buy their beans to take home. These guys are so good that there’s a number of cafes around Australia that use their beans.

Black Market Roasters
Another great roaster. These guys also focus primarily on coffee but they do have a pretty decent food selection to go with it.

Shenkin Enmore
These guys are great. So great that they have opened up a few places around Sydney. The one in Enmore is definitely worth checking out. There’s a sun soaked courtyard in the back and the Israeli cuisine is delicious. Coffee is also on point.

Cow and the Moon
They have what’s probably the best gelato in Australia (they won the world gelato championships a few years back). Their coffee is also great as they work closely with one of the best coffee roasters in Australia, Single O. We’ll cover Single O if we end up writing another article on where to find great coffee in Surry Hills and the CBD.
